Hearing Excellence Clinic
Here at Hearing Excellence Clinic, we’ve been helping people in Sheffield with their hearing since 2021. With a combined experience of over 24 years in the audiology industry, we’ve quickly grown to be the top hearing care provider in the region. So much so that we’ve now opened a second clinic in Barnsley, offering the same high-quality services that we’ve always provided.
We offer a range of services including ear wax removal, hearing tests, hearing aids, and hearing protection. Our passion is to improve our client’s lives through improved hearing from a personal yet professional service.

Paul Jackson - Clinic Director
Paul Jackson is the Senior Hearing Aid Audiologist & Clinic Director of Hearing Excellence Clinic and has been practising as an Audiologist for over 22 years. He is registered with the Health & Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and has been a member of the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA) since 2002.
After starting his own private hearing care business operating out of a chain of independent opticians in 2002, he joined the world’s largest private hearing care provider in 2009. This led to becoming the senior audiologist and branch manager of a successful hearing practice in Sheffield for over three years. From there, he joined one of the UK’s largest independent optical chains, Bayfields Opticians & Audiologists, as the Head of Audiology and launched their successful Audiology service for them.
This journey brings him back to his true passion - running his own clinic in Sheffield & Barnsley and providing clients with the very best in private hearing care in a friendly and professional environment.

The Hearing Excellence Clinic in Sheffield was opened in December 2021 and quickly grew to become one of the best hearing clinics in the region, using top quality equipment. Through our person-centred approach and depth of expertise, we found our clients returning time after time and have the reviews to back it up! Our Sheffield clinic currently sits at 5/5 on Google, with over 110 reviews from happy clients.
Hearing Excellence Clinic in Barnsley
After the success of our Sheffield clinic, we decided to open up Hearing Excellence Clinic Barnsley to improve the quality of hearing in a wider area. While this clinic only opened in April 2023, we immediately invested in top end, industry standard equipment so that we can provide the same high quality services that were such a success in Sheffield. So far, we’re seeing the exact same response from our clients, with another 5/5 rating on Google with over 10 reviews.
